PA FLAVOR: Beer and Food Expo Less Than One Week Away!
Join Pennsylvania Breweries, Restaurants and Food producers in a new kind of beer festival at PA Flavor: A Celebration of Beer and Food on Saturday, April 9, 1-5 p.m. at the State Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA.
Attendees will be able to sample beer from Pennsylvania breweries as well as food from Pennsylvania restaurants. On top, food vendors will be offering tasting samples as well as food for purchase.

2nd Annual Rootenanny with Troegs Beer!
Join Troegs Brewery at the Second Annual Rootenanny on Saturday, April 16 on the Terrace at Heritage Hills in York, Pennsylvania.
The Rootenanny features Mark DeRose and The Way Home along with the Homebody Pilgrims and Steven Courtney+the Suitcase Musicians for an evening of roots rock to support the Peaceful Warriors Green Benefit.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit the locally-based green coalition Wecology. Comprised of Glatfelter Paper, The York Water Company and Strathmeyer Forests, Wecology encourages and supports local businesses on how to best run their businesses in a sustainable manor.
Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door and are available by calling 717.676.9519 or via email at tix@markderosemusic.com. Doors open at 7 p.m.

New Beer Releases: Scratch #43, Sunshine Pils and Flying Mouflan
Scratch #43 is now available in the Brewery Tasting Room. We are still playing with IPAs because hops make us very happy. Here are the vital statistics for the beer:
OG: 16.3
ABV: 6.7%
Malt: Pils, Munich
IBU: 85
Hops: Bravo, Chinook, Cascade
Yeast: House Ale
Dry-hopped: Cascade
Sunshine Pils, our summer seasonal, is now being released across our distribution network. Cases will start appearing in retailers in early April and draft will hit bars and restaurants in mid-April. Bring on the Sunshine!
Along with Sunshine Pils, the 2010 GABF Gold Medal Winner The Flying Mouflan will be in the market starting in mid-April. Look for 22 ounce bottles and limited draft.

Brewery Tour News
If you are planning a brewery tour we highly recommend making online reservations a minimum of two weeks in advance. Also, please be considerate of others when booking for large groups. Unfortunately, we are not able to add people to tours on Saturdays, so please sign up in advance to guarantee your tour spot.

Harrisburg Brewers Fest
Tickets are now available for the Harrisburg Brewers Fest scheduled for Saturday, June 18. Once again there will be two sessions – 12-3:30 and 5-8:30. Go to www.harrisburgbrewersfest.com for tickets.
